A 10,438-ton Japanese armed merchant cruiser sunk 17 February 1944. An explosion of her ammunition stores killed ~730 crew and blew the bow away. Rests upright at 35 m, bow missing, deck at ~20 m. Schools of reef fish, sweetlips, barracuda, turtles.
