Healthy coral gardens cascade down steep volcanic slopes into the deep blue waters of the Banda Sea. This remote site has hard coral coverage with table corals and barrel sponges creating underwater topography. Schools of barracuda and trevally patrol the reef edges while reef fish inhabit the coral formations.
