Barracuda Reef (North)
Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico
A deep hogback reef on the north end of Cozumel, reserved for expert-level divers due to strong currents and separation risk. Named for the resident barracuda population. Depths 27-40 m. Observed species include large barracuda, pelagic jacks, tuna, eagle rays (winter), and occasional hammerhead sharks. Advanced Open Water certification and significant Cozumel experience required.
