A 400-ft British freighter (originally 'Tronto', 6,045 tons, built 1905) that sank in heavy seas during a hurricane on 13 September 1919. Rests upside-down in approximately 34 m of water 30 miles southwest of Venice, Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. The hull is cracked with the stern 6 m higher than the bow. Advanced certification required for depth and offshore location. Observed species include goliath grouper, amberjack, and schools of baitfish.
