Muck

Bianca lies off the mainland between Tandurusa village and Police Pier. The site takes its name from a white pinisi schooner that has been moored here for years. A slope of sand and rubble is dotted with orange sponges. The shallows hold coral heads and a large field of staghorn coral. Mandarinfish live in the staghorn. They are often seen in daylight here, which is unusual. Several frogfish species and pajama cardinalfish are also reported. Demand for the mandarin dive is high. Shops book set times. Operators ask for red light only on dusk dives. Heavy rain can make the water silty. The exact position of this site has not been published, so the map pin shows only its approximate area.
