Blue Hole (Kosrae)

Kosrae, Federated States of Micronesia

A large natural hole in the reef flat directly in front of Kosrae Nautilus Resort on Kosrae's NE coast — a 200 m walk across the reef flat at low tide gives shore-entry access. The hole reaches ~18 m depth inside the shallow reef, sheltered from current and swell. Resident stingrays, juvenile fish schools, huge pufferfish, and whatever drifts in on high tide. Mild conditions; Open Water-friendly; excellent night dive.
