Buccaneer Shoal

Wessel Islands, Northern Territory, Australia

Remote coral shoal in the Wessel Islands, rising from depths exceeding 40 m to within 8 m of the surface. Current-swept walls and pinnacles attract giant trevally, Spanish mackerel, barracuda, grey reef sharks and coral trout.
