Cabbage Tree Harbour

Norah Head, New South Wales

Rocky reef extends from the harbour walls into a sandy bottom at about 12 metres, with kelp, sponges, and coralline algae covering the rock surfaces. Resident eastern blue groper share the habitat with blue-ringed octopus, and giant cuttlefish appear along the reef margins.
