A 175-ft former US Coast Guard buoy tender (USCGC Hollyhock, WAGL-220, built 1937), sunk in February 1990 as BR-139 of the Broward County Artificial Reef Program off Pompano Beach. Named in memory of Captain Dan Garnsey. Rests upright and intact in 33 m; wheelhouse at 21 m, main deck at 27 m. Commonly observed species include goliath grouper, barracuda, and angelfish. Advanced certification required.
