Historic merchant vessel wreck resting on a sandy bottom surrounded by vibrant coral formations. The intact superstructure provides shelter for large schools of pelagic fish while resident Maori wrasse patrol the debris field. Soft corals and sponges have colonized the hull creating a thriving artificial reef ecosystem.
