Along this reef, the reef at Cavan Cove in Anilao, along the Verde Island Passage is defined by a broad shallow plateau at 3-12 meters with dense hard coral coverage. Branching Acropora, massive Porites, and encrusting corals create a three-dimensional structure that supports swarms of anthias, chromis, and damselfish.
