Massive coral heads rising two metres from the substrate anchor the reef structure. Eagle rays glide through in small groups, particularly during monsoon transitions. Grey reef shark is a regular presence along the reef. Spotted eagle ray and Indian Ocean sailfish are also a regular presence along the reef.
