Sha'ab Sataya (Dolphin Reef)

Southern Red Sea, Egypt

A large horseshoe-shaped reef in the Fury Shoals area of Egypt's southern Red Sea, approximately 150 km south of Marsa Alam. Home to a large resident pod of Indo-Pacific spinner dolphins, typically 100-200+ individuals. Access less regulated than at Samadai; preferred by liveaboard itineraries. Reef depth 5-40 m. Observed species include spinner dolphins, reef sharks, manta rays (seasonal), and dense reef fish populations.
