A protected volcanic-rock dive area on the east coast of Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain. Designated an EU Site of Special Scientific Interest in December 2001 and one of only three Marine Reserves in the Canary Islands. Shore-access dive with a volcanic shelf at 12-14 m and walls extending to 23 m. 400+ documented marine species. Observed species include trumpetfish, angel sharks (seasonal), octopus, eagle rays, and moray eels. Suitable for Open Water divers year-round.
