Elviscot Wreck (Pomonte)
Elba Island, Province Of Livorno, Italy
A 499-ton merchant vessel that collided with Ogliera Rock off Pomonte on 10 January 1972 and sank days later in storms — Elba's most popular wreck dive. The hull rests on sand at 6-13 m depth, broken into sections, accessible to snorkelers and Open Water divers. Dense fish life: schools of bream, damselfish, octopus, conger eels. Mild conditions year-round; shore-entry feasible in calm weather.
