Fingers Reef

Guam, Mariana Archipelago

Coral spurs extend like fingers from the reef edge off the Orote Peninsula, separated by sand channels between 10 and 30 meters. Spur tops carry hard coral and grazing surgeonfish; the channels shelter harlequin sweetlips and resting whitetip reef sharks.
