Fort Worden

An easy shore dive under the Port Townsend Marine Science Center pier at Fort Worden, Port Townsend. Pilings coated in plumose anemones and tube worms over a shell-littered bottom, with giant Pacific octopus, wolf eels, sea stars and bait balls. Shallow (typically 8–15 m) but current-sensitive — dive near slack.
