Imperieuse Reef (Rowley Shoals)

The southernmost of the three Rowley Shoals atolls — more exposed than Clerke and Mermaid, with less-visited walls and the dedicated Imperieuse liveaboard anchorage. Depths 5-40+ m on outer-reef walls, lagoon coral gardens, and drop-offs. Imperieuse rises from 440 m+ depth; visibility 40 m+; schools of fusiliers, reef sharks, potato cod, and occasional manta rays. Weather-dependent access; liveaboard-only.
