A 143 m Japanese Imperial Navy fleet oiler sunk on 31 March 1944 during the US Operation Desecrate One attack on Palau. Rests upright on a sandy bottom at 40 m with the deck at approximately 25 m. Observed features include intact naval guns on rotating turrets, deck cranes, kingposts, bridge structure, and accessible crew quarters. Coral growth, lionfish, clownfish, and moray eels occupy the wreck. Advanced Open Water recommended; wreck penetration requires additional training.
