Isla De Cedros
Baja California, Mexico
Isla de Cedros sits in the cool, nutrient-rich Pacific water off Baja's Vizcaíno coast, where the California Current feeds dense kelp-forest reefs. Drift dives cross big reefs packed with yellowtail, calico (kelp) bass, broomtail grouper, barracuda, and bonito, while California sea lions play in the shallows. Clear water, strong drifts, and reefs to around 30m reward the effort of reaching this remote island.
