Jimmy's Island

Batemans Bay, New South Wales

Jimmy's Island is a rocky outcrop south of Batemans Bay, with submerged granite boulders and kelp gardens. Its sheltered eastern side forms gullies and overhangs descending to 18 m; weedy seadragons move through the kelp, while grey nurse sharks use deeper gutters seasonally.
