Galápagos Islands
Kicker Rock (León Dormido)
San Cristóbal Island, Galapagos, Ecuador
A pair of tall vertical volcanic rock spires rising from the sea approximately 60 km off San Cristóbal Island in the Galápagos. The channel between the spires is a narrow swim-through at 15-30 m. Known for schooling scalloped hammerhead sharks, Galápagos sharks, eagle rays, sea lions, and seasonal whale sharks. Accessible as a day trip from San Cristóbal (one of the few Galápagos dive sites not requiring liveaboard). Advanced Open Water certification recommended due to currents.
