Noonu Atoll, Maldives

A distinctive coral reef within Noonu Atoll's coral-rich shallows spans depths of 3m to 20m. Groupers emerge from their lairs at dusk for the evening hunt. Healthy hard coral gardens with significant acropora and pocillopora colonies cover the substrate. Regal angelfish is present throughout much of the year.
