East Mauritius

At 20 meters, this reef provides habitat for a mix of bottom-dwelling, mid-water, and open-water species. Hard substrate and open patches alternate across the bottom, creating edge zones where species concentrate. Green sea turtle and whitetip reef shark browse through the reef, joined by giant moray eel foraging along the periphery of the site.
