Lighthouse Cabilao
Cabilao Island, Bohol, Philippines
Named for the lighthouse on the northwest tip of Cabilao Island that it sits beneath, this is a sloping wall covered in seagrass and corals and often visited by green turtles. It's a strong macro dive: frogfish, cowrie snails, ghost pipefish, stargazers, Pegasus sea moths, electric file clams and a range of crustaceans are all found among the corals and sponges. Boat entry; conditions are generally gentle, rewarding slow, careful searching.
