Octopus Reef

Guam, Mariana Archipelago

A stretch of northern Guam's outer reef where coral rubble gives way to consolidated reef with dense hard coral. Grey reef sharks patrol the edge where the slope drops into deeper water, and day octopuses den throughout the reef.
