Healthy coral bommies rise from sandy channels, creating a maze of swim-throughs and overhangs teeming with tropical reef fish. Large Maori wrasse patrol the deeper sections while green sea turtles graze on the algae-covered coral platforms. The site's protected position offers excellent coral coverage with vibrant soft corals and diverse hard coral formations.
