Cayman Islands
Pallas Pinacles
West Wall, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
A reef reaching 22 meters, its layout shaped by coral bommies that concentrate species at their margins. The reef supports a layered community, from cryptic invertebrates in the substrate to open-water visitors above. Southern stingray glide over the reef while green sea turtle and Nassau grouper work the edges and deeper contours of the site.
