Pelican Reef is a dive site on the north-west side of Guanaja. Hotel Guanaja lists it as site 45 on its 2025 dive map. It sits between Eel's Garden and Bayman Drop in that list. The Franko Maps Guanaja dive guide also marks it. A 2019 ScubaBoard trip report from Clearwater Paradise Resort names Pelican among the writer's favorite sites. That diver did Eel's Garden, Basket Star and Pelican as one long drift. The route ran over sand with small reef walls on either side. The writer compared it with The Lake in Bonaire.
