Healthy coral bommies rise from sandy channels creating a maze of swim-throughs and overhangs. Large schools of fusiliers and trevally patrol the reef edges while Maori wrasse glide through the coral gardens. The site features excellent hard coral coverage with vibrant staghorn and plate corals dominating the shallow areas.
