Salt Pond

Kauai, Hawaiian Islands

A reef descending to 27 meters where coral heads create structure on the bottom, drawing both resident and transient species. The waters draw green sea turtle, whitetip reef shark, and spotted eagle ray to the site, each exploiting different parts of the terrain.
