A dive site off Kauai's southeast coast near Poipu Beach, named for the nearby Sheraton Hotel. A series of intersecting lava-tube caverns at 12-18 m depth, home to green sea turtle populations (20-40 per dive is typical), whitetip reef sharks resting in the tubes, monk seals seasonally, and schooling pyramid butterflyfish. Mild conditions outside big swell days; Open Water with cavern briefing; a twilight/night dive.
