Small Pass
Rangiroa, Tuamotus
A secondary channel near Rangiroa's western Avatoru Pass, narrower and shallower than the main pass but still drawing tidal flow that attracts marine life. Napoleon wrasse are reliably present, cruising the channel walls. The formation draws spotted eagle ray and whitetip reef shark to its sheltered side, with yellowfin surgeonfish frequenting the exposed face.
