A shallow hydrothermal vent field in Eyjafjörður fjord near Akureyri, northern Iceland — the world's only geothermal chimney reachable by recreational divers. Primary chimney rises from 65 m to 15 m, emitting 76°C alkaline (pH 10.2) water. Chimney formed over 10,000 years from mineral precipitation. Observed species include wolf fish, catfish, cod, lumpfish. Dry suit required; water temperature ~5°C. Advanced Open Water certification recommended.
