Shark Point (Tadjoura / Île aux Requins)

Gulf of Tadjoura, Tadjourah, Djibouti

A dive site at a small volcanic islet locally known as 'Shark Island' (Île aux Requins) in the central Gulf of Tadjoura — named for resident grey reef shark aggregations. Depths 5-30 m on a large hard-coral platform with boulders that create cleaning-station habitat for schooling surgeonfish, snapper, and 3-10 reef sharks on a typical dive. Mild current; intermediate-level.
