A 115-m single-screw Libyan-owned oil tanker (5,390 DWT) that suffered a gas explosion during maintenance at Malta Drydocks on 3 February 1995, killing 9 workers. Scuttled off the southwest coast of Malta near Wied iz-Zurrieq on 2 September 1998 as an artificial reef. Rests upright on sand at 36 m; bridge top at 18 m, main deck at 25 m. Broke in two during a 2005-06 winter storm and is now in two sections. Shore or boat access. Advanced Open Water certification recommended.
