An Indiana-class pre-dreadnought battleship commissioned 1896, sunk 1921 as a gunnery target during training exercises off Pensacola. Rests approximately 1.5 nautical miles south-southwest of Pensacola Pass in 8-9 m of water. Part of the Florida Underwater Archaeological Preserve system (1993) and listed on the National Register of Historic Places (2001). Turret structure, ammunition tubes, and anchor chain are visible. Suitable for Open Water divers and snorkelers.
