Spotted wobbegongs are common under overhangs, and blue-ringed octopus hide in the rock crevices. The rocky coastline drops into boulder reef covered in kelp, descending to sand at about 15 metres. The site shelters eastern blue groper in its recesses, supports roaming weedy seadragon, and draws smooth stingray from adjacent waters.
