Yukon Bay
Poor Knights Islands, Northland
Yukon Bay cuts into the western face of Tawhiti Rahi Island, creating a natural amphitheatre where volcanic walls descend to a sandy floor at twenty metres. Grey moray eel emerge from the substrate, trevally school above the reef flat, and New Zealand fur seal track prey along the wall.
