Echeneis neucratoides, known as the whitefin sharksucker, is a remora species found in the tropical Northwestern Atlantic and Warm Temperate Northwest Atlantic, capable of reaching lengths up to 75 cm. It can swim freely or attach to host fish or turtles using a sucker on its head.
