Thalassoma lutescens, commonly known as the Yellow-Brown Wrasse, is a species of wrasse found in the Indian and Pacific Oceans, ranging from Sri Lanka to Hawaii and Australia. It inhabits coral reefs and can reach a total length of 30 cm. This species is of minor importance to local fisheries and is also present in the aquarium trade.
