Tubastraea micranthus, or Black sun coral, is a coral species from the family Dendrophylliidae. It is distributed across the Northeast Australian Shelf, Western Indian Ocean, and Western Coral Triangle, growing in bush-like colonies and typically found at depths up to 50 meters in its native habitats.
