Aw Shucks is on the mainland side of the northern Lembeh Strait, between Pantai Maleo and Hairball. It lies next to a pearl farm. The shallows hold a small patch of coral and sponge. Below that a sand slope runs down past an area of weed and rubble. Guides find leaf scorpionfish and small cuttlefish in the shallow coral. The slope is the place for hairy frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, ghost pipefish and seamoths. Mimic and wunderpus octopus also turn up on the sand. Photographers have recorded Pontoh's pygmy seahorse here. Most divers reach it by boat. It can also be dived from shore on the mainland side.
