A 140-m x 5,583-ton British oil tanker built 1928, torpedoed twice during WWII (by a Japanese midget submarine in Madagascar in 1942, then by German U-183 at Addu Atoll in March 1944), and finally scuttled in January 1946 when Britain withdrew from the Maldives. Rests on her starboard side in Addu Atoll between Maradhoo and Hithadhoo, with the keel at 33 m. Observed species include schools of blue-fin jack, turtles, manta rays, and sharks. Advanced Open Water certification required.
