Dropping to 25 meters, the reef at Matinloc in the El Nido archipelago, Palawan is defined by a broad shallow plateau at 3-12 meters with dense hard coral coverage. Giant moray eel frequent the area. Notable residents include mandarin fish and moorish idol.
