Minmi Trench

Sydney, New South Wales

A natural channel cut into the rocky reef south of central Sydney, creating a corridor dive between sponge-covered walls that descend to about 15 metres. Resident giant cuttlefish and blue-ringed octopus occupy the reef, with eastern fiddler ray passing through regularly.
