Moon Scape

Batemans Bay, New South Wales

Eastern rock lobsters emerge from crevices at the reef margins. Moon Scape earns its name from the surreal underwater topography, where millennia of erosion have sculpted the sandstone reef into rounded domes, shallow craters. The formation draws weedy seadragon and bull ray to its sheltered side, with eastern blue groper frequenting the exposed face.
