Slow movement across the sandy slope is rewarded with one discovery after another. Crinoids perch on high points, sheltering commensal shrimp and squat lobsters. Look for mimic octopus among the hard coral, hairy frogfish over sandy patches, and Banggai cardinalfish along deeper contours.
