Sand River

Niue

Sand River follows a broad sandy channel that descends through Niue's western reef slope like a submerged streambed, flanked on both sides by coral-covered limestone ridges. Banded sea krait and green sea turtle shelter beneath overhangs while convict tang sweep through on the current.
