Seal Rock
Poor Knights Islands, Northland
Off the eastern coast of Aorangi Island, a small rocky outcrop that serves as a haul-out for a colony of New Zealand fur seals. Rock lobster occupy every crevice and overhang. Koheru rest among the coral, porae forage across the reef, and spotted black grouper hunt along the edges.
